Blagged his way into his first band , Skinflower, in 1990, where he met up with guitarist Stedman Cool. Periods of travel abroad interrupted his musical career for several years. Appeared on the Singularity track "Yesterdaydreams" in 1998, and then travelled abroad again. Returning to England in the summer of 2000, he was initially invited to rehearse with Pig Unit, and a couple of months later became a permanent member.
