Influenced by the sounds of labels like Victory, Ransom and Epitaph, the band released the "Proud To Serve?" demo later that year, from which one track "Cheer Up" was taken to appear on a compilation of underground punk/hardcore bands.

Leaving Canada to travel the world, he ended up in Northampton (via Australia and other destinations) in October 99.
In June 2000, he met up with Man Wid Mission, who introduced him to the Unit just at the time when they were seeking to replace the elusive Cosmic.
