Northamptonbands.co.uk Review - 30/12/01

Unit in the house. PIG UNIT are the most original band around. Months of hard work and playing dives like The Princess Charlotte in Leicester (remember that Neil ?). They bash out a mix of rock-hiphop-indie-pop that is refreshing. However you always feel that everything is a little tongue-in-cheek with Pig Unit. The only band maybe that don't take themselves too seriously. I love Pig Unit, but made a hasty retreat from The Racehorse to watch Arsenal go top of The Premiership on telly. Sorry guys ! I would recommend anyone to watch Pig Unit. Great gig, great atmosphere, great sound man (Skinner, you are the man) and a fantastic turnout James Cross
